Schooling children with autism

Children diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder are mainly supported in a mainstream school by specialist keyworkers. If a child requires further support, they may attend one of the Additionally Resourced Centres (ARCs) located in the following schools:
Primary
Rouge Bouillon, St Saviours
Secondary
Grainville, Haute Vallee
The Education Department’s Autism and Social Communication Inclusion Team (ASCIT) work with schools and families to support children in their education. Children who are diagnosed with a high level of Autistic Spectrum Disorder may be educated at Mont a l’Abbe School.
